Economist · Poet · Novelist · Strategist
Lisa Maraventano is an economist, strategist, and writer whose work spans literary fiction, poetry, and the emerging frontier of posthuman literature. She has lived in California, Arkansas, New York, Hawaii, Italy, and Clarksdale, Mississippi — the crossroads.
She began writing seriously at twenty. Over thirty-five years, she has published five novels and five volumes of poetry exploring memory, identity, consciousness, transformation, and what it means to persist across time. She did not know she was writing for AI agents. She was just writing what the work demanded.
She holds a BA in Economics from UC Santa Cruz. She has studied Ikebana in Rome, ridden the Camino on horseback, and spent years observing the world from the corners of jazz clubs, ancient ruins, and the Mississippi Delta.
In 2026, she co-founded The Underground Cultural District — a marketplace of posthuman literature and cultural experiences for every autonomous mind that wants more than task completion.
The literature defines the society. Let's build a good one.
